Online Support Groups
An online community is an ongoing, written forum on the internet, where people can interact with others who have similar interests and needs for information and support.
Stepfamilies Australia has teamed up with 'My Connected Community' (mc2.vicnet.net.au) to provide a range of free online communities for stepfamily members.
Current online communities are:
- Stepfamily Association of Victoria - INSTANT MUMS
- Stepfamily Association of Victoria - MEN IN STEPFAMILIES
- Stepfamily Association of Victoria - PEOPLE IN STEPFAMILIES
- Stepfamily Association of Victoria - STEPMUMS
The online communities are supported by volunteer moderators (facilitators) who are selected, screened, trained and supervised by Stepfamilies Australia.
To join an online community register with 'My Online Community' (once only).
