The Stepfamily Helpline 9481 1500 operates Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm - Call back for country callers. It provides stepfamily information and referral, as well as telephone counselling and support.
We take calls from stepparents, biological parents and other stepfamily members, extended family, professionals that work with stepfamilies (eg counsellors, social workers, maternal & child health nurses, marriage celebrants, workers from other community agencies etc )...in fact anyone interested in stepfamily issues!
The Stepfamily Helpline is staffed by a team of trained volunteers who have counselling skills/ qualifications and have successfully completed our in-house Helpline Volunteer Training Program.
