Staff
All SAVI programs are resourced by experienced professionals with qualifications in social work, psychology or similar.
SAVI regularly provides placements to students from the various Schools of Social Work. Students receive regular supervision and are involved in a range of work including staffing the Stepfamily Helpline. In this way, SAVI is able to provide important education around stepfamily issues to practitioners of the future.
Volunteers play a valuable and vital role within SAVI. They contribute their time, skills and expertise across all levels of the organisation and programs.
SAVI is governed by a volunteer Committee of Management. Committee members bring with them a range of business and community expertise. All have a strong personal connection to stepfamily issues.
SAVI Ambassadors are volunteers who publicly promote the services, principles, mission and vision of SAVI within the wider community.
